What Are Shutters?

Shutters are hinged panels on a frame, fitted internally on windows and doors and are used for a variety of reasons.

Shutters of Ireland offer shutters to compliment almost all designs and interior styles.

How Do You Price The Shutters?

Regular shaped shutters are priced on the size of the opening being dressed with shutters, regardless of panel configuration, louvre size or the style of the shutters.

Special shapes are more difficult to price, and are dependent on the exact specifications required by the client, but generally we can supply a guide price for these on request, without the need for an on-site survey.

Where Are Shutters Used?

Shutters of Ireland provide shutters for houses, apartments, restaurants, hotels and offices.

What are the shutters made from?

  1. Our hardwood shutters, inclusive of the frames, are made from timber that is harvested from sustainable, controlled forests.
  2. Our “Faux” shutters are made from a “composite” material, and are best suited for areas where the shutters are exposed to high levels of moisture.

Shutter Colours

We have a standard range of painted colour finishes, which are inclusive of whites, off-whites and creams. Recently we have the additional choice of a gray and a taupe, which we have added to this standard paint range.

The shutters can be “Custom Coloured” at an additional cost per colour. Our shutters can also be supplied in a wood stain finish, also at an additional cost to standard painted shutters.
